Ghanaians should accept my new chosen career path to be a solo artiste – “Wutah Kobby”

Wutah Kobby a member of the defunct award winning music group ‘Wutah’ has pleaded with Ghanaians to accept his new chosen career path to be a solo artiste after separating with Afriyie.

In Ghana, it is quite evident that members of a defunct music group hardly make it to the top whilst others struggle to regain recognition as a solo artiste.

During a celebrity interview with Amansan Krakye of Radio Central fame in Cape Coast, Wutah Kobby was asked whether he’s struggling to gain the attention of music enthusiasts without his colleague Afriyie by his side, he said

“As for me I can’t tell whether I’m struggling to get people’s musical attention, that’s for Ghanaians to determine but I’m doing all that is necessary by churning out good songs that’s why the only name you hear after we separated is Wutah Kobby.

“Sometimes Ghanaians have a very difficult heart but I’m on my knees I’m begging that music lovers should please accept me as a solo artiste because there is this perception that when you go solo you hardly get accepted.

When asked whether he will consider dropping ‘Wutah’ from his name as part of the rebranding process unfolds, he said

“You see Wutah in Hausa means fire. I mean fire that represents positivity, inspiration and perseverance which is what I represent.

“So I won’t say because the group is no more I will put the name somewhere and call myself Kobby. I will continue to be known as Wutah Kobby.

Wutah Kobby is the stage name of Daniel Morris Nyarko, a Ghanaian singer and songwriter from Eastern Region and also CEO of Wutah Kobby Music.

The other half of Wutah fame since going solo has released songs such as gold, yengye yeni, if I get and naa mi featuring Tinny.

LEAKED AUDIO: DopeNation Jabs Kwesi Arthur In New Song

Get ready for fresh music beef which is likely to take over the entertainment industry.

KUBILIVE has chanced on an unreleased song by DopeNation which is a jab to Kwesi Arthur.

Even though DopeNation does not mention Kwesi Arthur’s name, the song makes descriptions that clearly point to the ‘Woara’ hitmaker.

KUBILIVE investigations prove that the beef song was borne out of an incident that happened at the SRC Night of Ghana Telecom University.

According to grapevine information, when DopeNation was called to come on stage to perform, they were obstructed by one of Kwesi Arthur’s team members; the microphone was taken from one half of the duo and was given to Kwesi Arthur to perform.

The reason does not sound convincing enough but you know most music beef usually does not erupt out of logical circumstances.

Even though the Lynx team is unwilling to release the song, we managed to get it.
