Koffee Wins Best Reggae Album At 2020 Grammys

Jamaican reggae artist Mikayla Simpson popularly known as Koffee has just won the Best Reggae Album at the 62nd Grammy Awards.

The Toast hit maker won with her 2019 EP Rapture.

Koffee beat stiff competition from Julian Marley, Sly & Robbie & Roots Radics, Steel Pulse and Third World.

Koffee released her debut single, Toast, in 2018, and in 2019 signed with Columbia Records.

In an acceptance speech, Koffee dedicated the award to fellow nominees and described it as a win for Reggae music and Jamaica.
