Meet “Nana Gari” The 60 Year Old Musician Who Aspires To Win The 2020 VGMA Artiste Of The Year

Music like education has no age barrier and thus no matter your age you can still pursue a career in any of the fields but starting a career at an older seems to be a tough decision but sensational musician Nana Gari has challenged himself to start his music career at age 60.

According to Nana Gari Growing up, he had always wanted to do music, but it was rather unfortunate I did not get anyone nor any means to make my dream come true. But I was inspired by rich Shuga to start the music and that’s how I got into music.

His kinda music is basically meant to swipe off your feet unto the dance floor. It’s called traditional hiplife and trusts me it has come to stay meaning everyone is gonna enjoy. I get my inspiration from life and it’s happening.

Alot of things happen in life some positive others, negative, good, bad, ugly, sweet, bitter, sad, funny…..a whole lot so things that happen in life inspire my music to also inspire someone or motivate them. As my music states “Ol3 GA” someone might come from afar to set up a business here in Accra and might not result as expected. All these inspire my kind of music.

Nana Gari disclosed that his biggest challenge has always been getting a manager to help support my music. In Ghana doing music without a Manager is something else thus getting to the top would be a hard nut to crake. I am currently working on my two next singles (bangers ). I want Ghana to just watch out and still believe in me.

Nobody knows what tomorrow holds but all I will say is to be able to have about 3 albums in the next 2 yrs. I just believe the future for NANA GARI is gonna shine exceedingly. I would like to tell an upcoming artist not to give up. They should keep pushing harder and harder until their time come.

However upcoming artiste shouldn’t follow the crowd on reaching there by any means they should have at the back of their mind that one step at a time. I want my fans to know to love them all for their time and support and I promise to always deliver.
