Sarkodie Betrayed Me In A Glo Deal : Shatta Wale Reveals The Genesis Of Their Fight



Controversial Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Shatta Wale, has revealed the root cause of the rivalry between him and Sarkodie.

According to him, telecommunication network Glo called on them for a deal.

So he conferred with Sarkodie and told him that since they have been in the industry for long and are known to be hardworking, that was the time for them to make some good money with the deal.

Therefore, he agreed with Sarkodie to quote an amount of $150,000 each for that deal. This, Shatta Wale revealed, was accepted by Sarkodie and they got ready to speak with Glo.

The Dancehall king made these and many other revelations in an interview monitored by on Joy FM.

However, Shatta Wale said he received a call from Glo telling him that Sarkodie had come to them and agreed to be paid $120,000 for the deal.

He said he felt betrayed because he had already mentioned $150,000 to Glo, and told them that Sarkodie would also take the same amount.

Therefore, Obidi’s less charge made him feel like he wanted to outsmart Glo, thus giving him a bad reputation.

As controversial he is, Shatta Wale said he called Sarkodie on phone and confronted him on why he behaved that way.

But the Highest musician could not give any tangible reason, and so he, Shatta Wale, threatened to go on radio and tell everyone that Sarkodie was living a poor life.

“That is how the whole thing started. Sarkodie is suffering but he doesn’t want to show because people think of him as rich.

He doesn’t have anything, that was why he couldn’t even manage Strongman,” Shatta Wale added.

Meanwhile, Sarkodie had earlier released a song titled Advice, to taunt Shatta Wale.

Now, the Taking Over hitmaker has revealed that it was after the Glo confrontation that Sarkodie attacked him with that song.

The two have many songs together including Megye Wo Girl, Dancehall Commando, and many other hits.

CCTV camera captures the killers of Junior US



Ghanaians were hit with the sad news about the death of Shatta Wale’s close friend, Junior US last month and since his demise, the Police have been hunting for his killers.

Junior US was shot dead by unknown assailants in his house in April this year.

According to reports, Junior US invited some ladies to come over to his house so they had a ‘good time’ together but unknown to him the ladies brought along armed robbers who attacked and killed Shatta Wale’s close friend.

However, the Philadelphia Police have released a CCTV ‘footage’ that shows the ladies who visited the deceased in his house and the two gunmen who shot him.

In the video,3 black women purported to be Africans were ‘chilling’ with Junior US in his room.

The CCTV also captured when attackers who drove in a grey Chevy Malibu car parked near Junior US’ house and later came out of the car walked towards his house.

What appeared planned with the ladies had one of the ladies opening the door when the gunmen knocked.

Junior in the Video was immediately shot by the assailants as soon as the door was opened for them.

The video captured all the faces of the attackers including the 3 ladies who aided them to murder Junior US.

The gunmen, also purported as Africans were in jeans and a black ‘hoodie’ with their faces visibly seen.

The 3 ladies fled the scene with the attackers in the gray Chevy Malibu car they came with.

The Police who are currently are in search of the killers released the footage to the general public where they asked the public to aid them to identify the 3 black women and 2 men involved in the death of Junior US.

A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the 5 people involved.

On April 9, 2019,at approximately 11.55 pm,two unknown men entered the victim’s apartment at 7700 Lindbergh Boulevard,shot him and fled the apartment.

The Victim died at the scene. At the time of the shooting 3 black females were with the victim in his apartment.

All the females fled the scene with the offenders in a gray Chevy Malibu” The Philadelphia Police captioned in the video.

Guns are a normal security detail amongst Ghana artistes “Edem”



In a latest development on the Shatta-Stone banter, rapper, Edem had previously revealed in an interview that Ghanaian artistes apparently carry registered guns on stage during their performances.

This revelation was made in an interview on Hitz FM with Andy Dosty on 2nd November 2018 as Edem claimed that most people are ignorant of this fact ongoing in the lives of Ghanaian artistes.
He further explained that there has been several altercations backstage but never onstage and they carry guns because they don’t want to be seen as weak before their fans when an unforeseen circumstance arises before, during or after their performances.

George Quaye, PR of Charterhouse Productions, organizers of the VGMAs, in an interview on Citi FM this morning revealed that he is up to speed with the fact that the security profile of artistes normally do apply for and carry around licensed guns but isn’t sure that the artistes themselves carry guns.

He however claimed that the security for this year’s event had actually been doubled in comparison with previous VGMA editions and there were metal detectors readily available to check up such instances.

Edem just revealed in an interview that the ongoing scuffle between the two Reggae/Dancehall artistes might be a serious issue and not a publicity stunt because no one wants to be disrespected and such issues are commonplace in the industry sighting incidents with Hammer of the last two music productions and others.

Watch: We withheld the two prestigious awards because they belonged to both Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale – Kwame Sefa Kayi



Ace-broadcaster, Kwame Sefa Kayi who was the Master of Ceremony at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards which came of last Saturday has revealed that the winners for the two unannounced categories were Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale.

Following the unexpected pandemonium which broke out at the VGMAs, the winners for the ‘Most Popular Song Of The Year’ and ‘Artist Of The Year’ were not announced. Organizers of the event Charter House in a press release stated that the winners of the withheld awards would be announced in a press conference later this week.

However, speaking in an interview this morning, Kwame Sefa Kayi revealed that the reason the winners for the award were unannounced was because one of the awards belonged to Stonebwoy and the other to Shatta Wale.

Falling to reveal who exactly won which award, the Chairman General said the decision not to announce the winners was to prevent another chaos from happenoing .
