T-Ben releases his long awaited EP dubbed “Self Determination-Man Like Nkrumah”

Oyedeji Owolabi Benjamin Saka Mideji popularly known as T-Ben, a third year Information and Communication Technology student of the Ho Technical University has released his long awaited EP dubbed “Self Determination-Man Like Nkrumah”. The intro track “Man like Nkrumah” talks about the price to be paid to disassociate oneself from poverty and struggling through the impossible to get a break through.

Being passionate about the unity of Africans, T-Ben vows to use his music as a tool to be a uniting force to fight against the supremacy of whites while promoting Unity of Africa. This is of the view that, He strongly believes that in order for Africans to stand strong, Africans need to free themselves from mental slavery and no one can help us except ourselves.

T-Ben draws inspiration from circumstances surrounding him and personal experiences. According to fans, his style of music is based on laying down verses with cadence that constantly changing and hidden lines that make his listeners think ourside the box to affiliate meanings to the value of his lyrics. His unique music style allows listeners to discover the hidden messages as he sings which is a catalyst to the future of Afro pop genre.

T-Ben held a “Lagos 2” concert, at the Ho African Hills Resort. The event was the breakthrough phase of T-Ben as it had a massive outcome of attendance and the CEO of the resort named T-Ben the Shatta and Stonebwoy of the region after the event.

As T-Ben’s name depict that he’s Nigerian by nationality, It is said that T-Ben seem not to vent out on issues concerning his paternity during interviews due to circumstances unknown. However reliable sources say that the artist was brought forth by an Ewe woman.

Fela Kuti, Burna boy and Davido are undoubtedly great artists T-Ben looks up to. As an activist and promoter of peace and unity on campus, some of the tracks on the EP include; “Never Underrate”, “Emmanuel Said”, “Lagos 2 Ho”, lHustle” ft Ella Naise. I bet Ghanaians are not ready to contain this super talent. Let’s support and anticipate the hard works of a creative mind, set to impact some change into the music industry and Ghana as a whole. Ghana is not ready!!!

The fashion icon with a tremendous global appeal, known in real life as Glenn Samuel Semakor won the enviable award in a stiff competition that had other equally deserving fashion super-powers in the category.

DopeNation Wins Best Group At The 2019 Ghana Music & Arts Awards Europe

The 2019 Ghana Music & Arts Awards went down in Europe.

Announcing the winners, Ghanaian music group, DopeNation emerged as winners for the Best Group as they are signed to Lynx Entertainment.

A representative picked up the award for them.

DopeNation is a Ghanaian talented music group made up of B2 and Twist who aslp runs as producers.

They have worked with the likes of EL, Eazzy, the late Ebony, Shatta Wale Pappy Kojo, Fameye, Flowking Stone and more.

They got into the limelight with their major hit Eish which got them been nominated at the 2018 Ghana Music Awards.

They are known for producing major hits such as Eish, Naami, Zanku and Confam.

Shatta Wale, Sarkodie and AYAT Win Big At MTN 4Syte TV Music Video Awards 2019 – See Full List Of Winners

The 10th Anniversary of MTN 4syte TV Music Video Awards 2019 is over, which was held on Saturday November 16, at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City in Accra saw Shatta Wale and Sarkodie dominated most.

The awards biggest award, Overall Best Video, was won by Kirani AYAT’s video for the song ‘Guda’ directed by David Nicol-Sey (North Productions).

Other winners include Stonebwoy, R2Bees, Okyeame Kwame, Wendy Shay, Quamina MP, Nana Boroo, among others. Two of the night’s big winners, reggae-dancehall star Shatta Wale and rapper Sarkodie picked up 5 and 3 awards respectively.

Nigerian singer and songwriter Burna Boy announced as the winner of the ‘Best African Act Video’ award, he joins an exclusive list of Nigerian artistes who have won the much-coveted African Act honour.

The beautiful and colour ceremony witnessed outstanding performances from Sarkodie, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, R2Bees, Medikal, Kwaw Kese, Darkovibes, Lord Paper, RJZ, Quamina MP, among others.

The maiden edition of the 4Syte TV Music Video Awards was organised in 2009 to commend creativity in the music video business. Since then the awards ceremony has become an important date in the Ghana music industry and calendar. This year, curvaceous Joselyn Dumas and stand-up comedian DKB hosted the ceremony.
