VGMA 2019: Stonebwoy apologizes to organizers of VGMA and Ghanaians

Celebrated Reggae/Dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy has finally apologized to Ghanaians and the organizers of the VGMA after his clash with his arch-rival Shatta Wale on stage during the VGMA 2019.

Yesterday’s VGMA saw patrons witness a shameful act caused by the two fiercely contested Dancehall artists.

The whole brouhaha started when Stonebwoy was announced as the winner of the highly coveted Reggae/Dancehall Artist of the year award but few minutes of mounting the stage to deliver his acceptance speech, Shatta Wale and his numerous ‘followers’ decided to join him on stage which stirred up the tension.

As Shatta Wale and his followers mounted the stage, the Bhim Nation team misunderstood the SM boss’ gesture to congratulate their artist as it was seen as an attack on them which made them initiate an attack on the SM team.

The confusion between the two camps led to a halt of the program for some time.

However, the CEO of Burniton Music has issued a statement apologizing to Ghanaians and Organizers for the violent clash that happened between himself and Shatta Wale.

Below is Stonebwoy’s full statement:
