‘A Text Message Medikal Sent To Me Changed My Life’ : Fameye

In a new interview, Singer Fameye, whose two beautiful tracks, ‘ Nothing I Get ‘ and ‘ Mati ‘ have become street anthems all over Ghana, revealed how he struggled to make any progress when he was an ‘ underground ‘ artist.

Fameye had a rather sad childhood, having lost both parents before he grew up. To make matters worst for him, his music career was gloomy as he struggled to make any impression on his listeners which was even compounded by mockery from people.

The mockery started when people told him that Medikal, who was Fameye’s junior in school, was making it big whiles he was nowhere near his level.

He told Sammy Flex that this got him frustrated and he consequently tried everything within his power to ‘blow’ at all cost.

He said Medikal upon realizing how he (Fameye) was desperate to catch up sent him a message that inspired him to work harder and focus on his craft.

And that message, he noted, changed his life forever.
