Published

Award schemes are currently proliferating in Ghana with many of these awards designed to reward the hard work of those in the entertainment industry and showbiz personalities.

Some people attribute their success in the music industry to many of the awards they win which are mostly decided by votes cast by their supporters.

Danny Beatz, who is one of the finest beat makers in Ghana has often gotten nominations in several award schemes for best producer of the year but most often doesn’t win.

During a celebrity interview with Amansan Krakye of Radio Central in Cape Coast who has been nominated for Best Presenter in Central Music Awards 2019, Danny Beatz said

“Organizers of awards know the number of votes. What I care about is that I share to my fanbase to vote but as to who wins I don’t know what contributes to choosing one as the winner. I might have to put in more effort in order to win”.

When asked by Amansan Krakye whether his fanbase are not loyal enough that’s why they don’t vote enough to enable to pick up the awards, he said

“I have the biggest and the most loyal fanbase in Ghana, however i won’t blame them for not voting for me when I get the nominations. I even go to the extent of making a lot of bloggers write about my nominations”.

Danny Beatz recently got nomination for Best Producer of the year at Ghana Music Awards UK 2019.
