Morgan Heritage Kenyan Concert With Stonebwoy Flops

Reports reaching us via social media has it that Jamaican music group concert in Kenya has flopped with some artiste billed to perform on stage alongside not been treated well.

According to the reports, Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall artist Stonebwoy got kicked out of his hotel room over non-payment of bills after the Kenya Concert dubbed “Tomorrow’s Leaders” organised by Morgan Heritage flopped.

But Nigerian artiste and ‘Jonny Hitmaker’ Yemi Alade was also locked up in her hotel room for non-payment as well.

More revelations were made about the show in a series of Twitter posts.

“Credible sources inform me that @morganheritage are planning to flee the country tomorrow after the flopped #TLF2019 gig.

– Stonebwoy has been kicked out of his hotel.
– Yemi Alade locked in her hotel because of bills.
– No Kenyan Artist paid.#ArrestMorganHeritage”

“The much publicized @morganheritage event that was meant to raise cash for “African Leaders” was a complete disaster from the start. Artists like @diamondplatnumz and @yemialadee refused to get on stage because of pay. #ArrestMorganHeritage”.

“The main host @KoinangeJeff also pulled out of the event hours before everything went south as he didn’t want to align his brand with an event that was Confused, Poorly organized and with No Pay. #ArrestMorganHeritage”.

“On the day of the event, all the artists refused to get on stage before payment, @morganheritage gave them cheques at the backstage. A few hours after the performance they got this mail, saying no money in the account. #ArrestMorganHeritage”.

Ghanaian Producer, iPappi inks publishing deal with Sony Music UK

Versatile Ghanaian Music Producer, Prince Fosu, known in the showbiz circle as “iPappi” has secured a music publishing deal with Sony Music UK through London based music production company, Palm Wine Music LTD, with company registration number 12021977.

This deal in conjunction with Palm Wine Music LTD is set to strategically place the brand iPappi on the global market which will provide greater opportunities to exploit his creativity.

This synchronization license and publishing deal permits Sony Music UK to license and exploit iPappi’s content and collect publishing returns on behalf of iPappi.

The genius producer has been behind many hits including Stonebwoy’s “Ololo” which features Nigerian Afropop Singer, Teni, Kojo Cue and Shaker’s “Up and Awake” which features Platoon Africa’s signed HipHop artist, Kwesi Arthur. He made it onto Stonebwoy’s GRAMMYs worthy album “Anloga Junction” with his production on “Bow Down” featuring South Africa’s Nasty C.

Stonebwoy Compliments DopeNation On An International Platform | WATCH

Ghanaian dancehall artist and BET winner Stonebwoy has praised DopeNation on an international platform. The dancehall in a live interview with DJ Sabby Of YFM South Africa on Instagram speaking about his career and the Ghanaian music industry called out on the twin group duo.

In the viral video, Stonebwoy described the twin group duo as a crazy group in Ghana as he gave them shouts and was very excited to call out on them on the international platform.

He went on to reveal they won the best group at the Sound City MVP awards in Nigeria as he praised them for their hard work.
