Nominations Open For Emerging Music Awards 2020

The management and Board of Emerging Music Awards once again say Ayekoo to all the 2019 winners of Emerging Music Awards.

We are honoured to inform musicians, music industry players and members of the general public that nominations for the second edition of the Emerging Music Awards is officially opened as at 5th of September 2020.

Emerging Music Awards is an awards scheme in Ghana that celebrates and honours the hard working talented UP AND COMING AND EMERGING MUSICIANS solely on a prestigious platform.

Interested stakeholders are by this release encouraged to visit our website to fill the nomination forms for their songs: emergingmusicawards.kusstar.com.

NOMINATION IS OPENED

From 5th September to 25th September 2020. The year under review starts from 1st June 2019 to 31st May 2020.

2. Click on Nominations on the Manu or scroll down to click on Nominations

3. Like our Facebook page to have access to the Nomination forms

4. Fill the Nomination forms

5. Click on submit to your application and sign out.

‘HARD GUY’ SARKODIE REPLIES DR UN; SALUTES KUMERICANS IN NEW JAM; GIMME WAY

Sarkodie, with the aid of the Oofeestso accomplice, Prince Bright dabbles around the Dr. UN & Kumerica fuss in new single; Gimme Way.

Sarkodie talks about how he used to think he was a hard guy until he met Mr. Fordjour aka Dr. UN.

In the song, Sark rapped; “I used to think I was a hard guy until I met Dr. UN who gave me an empty bottle as an award”

He then goes on to say that was one bad situation he caught himself in and if he meets him, he will certainly give him a slap on the neck—We know Sark was JOKING about that line.

Sarkodie doesn’t end it there, goes on to talk about how he wasted time going for that fake award when he could have used that time well by making love to his wife, Tracey of course.

That aside, we think the song is great and a certified banger!

Watch How Mr Drew Was Saved By Obaya In Koforidua Over The Weekend

We all know how Mr Drew performs on stage with his great songs, you would agree that he’s a real entertainer and brings excitement to the audience as everyone, screams his name, sing along his songs and give him all the attention that he deserves as an A-list artiste but the case was different this time around when he came to Koforidua .

Mr Drew started his performance with all the energy, performing his best song but the Koforidua folks refused to sing along, blink an eye and just stared at him like they’ve never heard his name or his songs before.

All was slow for the “Eat” hitmaker until Obaya joined him on stage to perform his “Dw3” song then the crowd started screaming for him. This time, no fan was interested in touching Mr Drew, they were all gaga about Eastern’s finest Obaya. They all had a good night.
