Camidoh has achieved a milestone as the first Afrobeats artist to perform at New York City’s ‘Chinatown Sound’ series.

On Wednesday, July 10, 2024, New York City’s Chinatown Sound premiered its first episode featuring an Afrobeats star. The honor went to Ghanaian singer-songwriter Camidoh!

The “Sugarcane” hitmaker performed an acoustic version of his recent track “NLF (Breakfast),” a mesmerizing song about a breakup that led him to seek therapy. Amid the bustling streets of Lower Manhattan, he donned a velour sweatsuit, brown shades, and construction boots, delivering a heartfelt acapella rendition of the new track.
