“WHO WEAR’S THE CROWN – MISS TEMA HOMOWO 2019?

Miss Tema Homowo is a beauty pageant activated by Menscourt Entertainmentz in May, 2018 set to empower women in Tema and its environs.

This brand isn’t limited to only women in Tema or the Ga’s but once you are eloquent & bold, you are set to join.

Menscourt entertainment thought of it wise to get some interesting but very educational activations which will center much on Culture since much people don’t know about the Ga Dangme Traditions to brand our Homowo festival.

We decided to meet the Traditional Council for their approval & support, they gladly approved because they also realized it was a worthy course.

This is a pageantry that has forever come to stay because aside it Empowering women, It’s here to build the confidence of many young ladies and as well make them more productive.

On this note, Tema is celebrating its 60 years of Resettlement and due to that Miss Tema Homowo 2019 pageant has be channeled to it.
The competition was opened to everyone with language and tribe being no barrier because the Tema is a cosmopolitan community and also, it will serve as a channel to sell our culture to other tribes within our jurisdictions.

Eight (8) young and eloquent ladies are contesting for this year’s (2019) beauty pageant and there, the question sets in again “WHO WEARS THE CROWN? We have 2 pre-activities to be done before the finals which will take place on 10th August 2019.

Namely, Cooking competition and Back to the 80s Festival will happen live at the Durbar grounds with both starting at exactly 10am.

Details Cooking competition Contestants will be divided into 4 groups and each group will come up with a special dish.
Date : 27th July, 2019 Venue : Kpeledzotsoshishi Back to the 80s Festival This is going to be a throwback day where many games that the internet has taken place of will be played. Date : 3 rd August, 2019 Venue : Kpeledzotsoshishi Examples of such games are: Tuu Ma Tu / Peele , Pilolo, Kpiting3 , Sakiodong, Alikoto, Olu, Awaley, Small poles among others.

It will be a long day packed with olden games and will be climaxed with Story Telling which will commence at exactly 7:30pm.

Get familiar with the Maiden edition of “Miss Culture Ghana”.

Our Culture, our tradition, and our language are the foundations upon which we build our identity.

In recent times, Ghanaian culture has been one of the Ghanaian symbols which is fading away in the country.

When we say culture, culture is said to be the way people live in a particular environment. But here lies the case where culture is no more being relevant in the country (Ghana). This is simply because the youth of the country is now practicing the foreign culture rather than that of the countries.

Therefore, The Maiden Edition of Miss Culture Ghana pageant is designed to provide an opportunity for contestants to gain essential life skills such us confidence in front of large crowd and growing of self-esteem while projecting our rich Ghanaian Culture.

Again to encourage the youth to play an important role in the community by participating in developmental projects. However, the pageant will focus mainly on entrepreneurship and skills development. This is to empower the youth to build their entrepreneurial skills and capabilities.

The main aim of the contestants are to empower the youth, teach and encourage healthy living, self-confidence, creative accomplishment and community service.

In conclusion, MISS CULTURE GHANA will help the youth build a common interest in enhancing interpersonal skills, increasing self-confidence, heightening society awareness, and aspiring to excellence while aspiring through their examples.

SAMINI, KING OF LIVE PERFORMANCES TO HOST UNTAMED VIRTUAL CONCERT THIS SATURDAY!

Ghanaian reggae and dancehall sensation Samini will be holding a virtual concert for his fans dubbed ‘Untamed’ Concert.

The 2005 Ghana Music Awards artiste of the year will be joining the likes of Shatta Wale who recently held his Faith Concert.

Samini’s concert has been set for Saturday, May 30, 2020 at exactly 8PM and will be live on his YouTube page.

SHATTA WALE, KUAMI EUGENE BILLED FOR COVID-19 VIRTUAL CONCERT ON EASTER MONDAY

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Communication and the GH COVID-19 tracker program, Kuami Eugene and Shatta Wale have been billed for a COVID-19 Virtual Concert.

The event unfolds on Easter Monday 13th April at 4pm and will be aired live on GhOne TV, TV3, UTV, Joy Prime, Joy News as well as a live streaming across Facebook and YouTube.

The COVID-19 Virtual Concert is expected to attract over 20,000 online patrons and the entire populace via Free to Air television stations listed above.
